New Zealand's Capital Wellington trip Guide

The capital city of New Zealand, Wellington, is a harbor city that has promoted itself as the hub of art and culture in New Zealand. The city is illustrious for its astonishing views of the coastline and the harbor. Wellington is a modern metropolitan city with a touch of New Zealand's natural views. Since, it is the capital city of the country, it serves up the Government with the parliament and other Governmental departments situated in the city.

Location
The city is located at southernmost tip of the north island. The city sits at the western shore line of the Wellington harbor. It was destroyed in the horrific earth quake of 1855; since then the city has been rebuilt and more land has been added to the city's landscape.
