Upon the date of the former publication of this article, the United States Citizenship and Immigration aid (Uscis) is processing I-130 petitions very efficiently compared to past processing estimates. The result of this relatively quick adjudication process is that I-130 petitions are commonly arriving either before their I-129f counterpart or at the same time. Should this happen, the I-129F application will be "administratively closed" and the combine will have no option but to seek either an Ir1 visa or a Cr1 visa.
As long as the Uscis is processing an I-130 petition in the same number of time as an I-129f application, the K3 marriage visa is difficult to secure because the supplemental I-129F petition will be administratively fulfilled, if it gets to the National Visa town at the same time or after the I-130 petition.
In a way, the National Visa town has devised an elegant explication to processing concerns as the K-3 type was designed to provide expedited processing if the adjudication of an I-130 is unduly delayed at the United States Citizenship and Immigration aid (Uscis). By only processing I-129f petitions for those marriage visas where the I-130 has seemingly yet to be processed by Uscis, the Nvc is addition the efficiency of their performance by not processing what is perceived to be a superfluous trip document while processing those I-129f petitions that fit with the former policy of creating the K-3 visa type in the first place.
